MISSION: To proclaim the good news of Salvation (evangelisation) through the means of Social Communications driven by Christ's mandate to his disciples ”You shall be my witnesses.” Empower people with knowledge and skills in all forms of communication thus enabling communications to play an active role in all aspects of the Church's work.

The Social Communication Commission is responsible for the production of the Bishops' conference monthly newspaper “The National Mirror,” Ukweli Video Productions/ real time and oversees the Catholic Radio “Radio Waumini 88.3 FM”.
